Good evening/morning folks... sorry I wasn't here earlier, I'm afraid as "Iron Man" I had to go save the universe from uncertain peril, then I had to regain my strength, it's all go at times here.

Wonderful theme Walt and a great start... looking forward to listening in.

Getting late my end so I'll just perch for a wee while and dip my toes in.  :)

You Raise Me Up ...Josh Groban

I did this last night but I reckon this Josh Groban is a crooner & the song is definitely a croon
So I'll put it on because I've already listened to all of you so far ...& you're all brilliant ...& yeah you DO raise me up! so ...this is for all of you at EAW!!

I'm glad that the female crooner list included The Andrews Sisters because I just recently did this one from 1949:

I Can Dream, Can't I?

Although he's not thought of as a crooner in the same vein as Dean, and Frank, Perry and Der Bingle, I believe this song by Michael Martin Murphy surely fits the bill in terms of what a ballad or love song is supposed to be.

Off to a good start thanks to all you wonderful folks , but wait thats not good enough I want all of you to contact those EAW members who haven't been around in quite some time and ask them to drop by with a song , I have already sent several emails out and have one confirmed will do , if each of us can get one that would be fantastic.  I asked a very young friend of mine to sing a song for me that fits in this challenge so I'm going to put it in for her , I hope she joins us someday.

Old Cape Cod - Lani

Walt,  Lani is STUNNING... I couldn't stop at just the one song, I had to hear more.

Hanging up my mic!  SIGH!  What a voice!  :D

Night all!

OK Walt this is a repost but its been awhile.  I don't have time to record a new one.  This song is something Sammy Davis Jr. used to sing and I believe the Rat Pack joined in on another recording of this.

Hello and welcome Jimmy, always love to see new faces here joining the challenge.  Jenny did a great thing inviting someone to join us, it never hurts to ask.  Let's build this group, ask your friends to join us. :)  I already went and listened to Jimmy, the man is smooth and definately a crooner!

Is anyone else having problems opening up RedKaraoke?  I keep getting a site not found error!! and I was there yesterday listening to Sandy's song!!

Good morning, EAWs!!   ;D

This is an old recording of mine that a lot of you have probably heard before, but I don't have too many crooners in my archives.

Hi Rachel, girl, you just sing us a disney princess song every now and then and that will make me thud and sway all day long!! :)

I brought family with me to croon, my brother Crazy_Pup, who you can blame for me singing outloud, is now singing more on SS and I hope you all will show him some love and drop by for a listen.  He is trully the singer in the family, and it comes very easy for him.  I did not know this song till I heard him sing it the other day, so I practiced..and practiced so I could join him and not ruin it.  Hope my practiced paid off.

One Good Love      artists....Neil Diamond & Wayland Jennings

I know, what a combo lol  We are more like Dean Martin (Pup) and Jerry Lewis (me)

Good Afternoon.

Well thought I would need the shades today, but it's raining again.

Great theme Walt and Bella.

Here is a song from that great modern day crooner Michael Buble

Can't Help Falling In Love with You

Hope everyone is well.

Hi my friends!
Very nice challenge this week, with so many possibilities to chose songs belonging to great vocal artists.  So this is what I recorded the other days, a song by Edith Piaf, the french queen of music. I hope you like it!

La vie en rose   by Edith Piaf

Have a wonderful time!!!

Good morning!  Sunny day here and I'm going for a walk.
But I'm taking this out of the cupboard where I left it overnight.

There's probably too much reverb but the track is so loud, it's a little hard to mix.

Nice theme you have going on! I stopped in yesterday but failed to leave a comment. Saying HI and hoping to sing something... If not I may drop a few lines on peoples songs. Hugs xo
