Hiya everyone...

Not been in much this afternoon/evening as the madness in my house is er hopefully gonna finish soon, no more pizza throwing and millionaire shortcake icing - you really don't want to know what they drew!   :o.

Probably be back in about half an hour to have a wee listen, check what's been happening and grown, (er thinking of Johanna?) groan I meant, (although I am sure she has - overnight)... do some work?

Off to watch some spiders, I mean Spiderman!   Be back soon!

Comments for users with other singing accounts:

Here is where I will be posting my comments for singers that have other singing accounts that I am not signed up for. Please check back here for this is where I will be editing and commenting on those songs sung. Makes it easier and less scattered posts by me. Thanks!

Colonel Rich: So far I've listened to your, "I'll See You In My Dreams" And it was just fabulous! You always sound so super clear and spot on! Beautiful sing.

Colonel Rich: Your "Everybody Step" was very entertaining and enjoying to listen too. Made me feel like a Carnival! Excellent job!!  Loved it.

Colonel Rich: I love this song, "Over There" and, of course, it mentions 'Yanks' - and well I'm'ma Yankee! So...Oeverall most excellent duet with the lovely vocals of The Doobs! ;-)

Going to have to get to listening when I can.  I left work at 9:50 am and slept when I got home.  I woke up at 3:30 pm.  Seems this cold has turned into an upper resporitory infection.  So I will try my best :)))

LOL I did come in to do some more editing and did a little - then fell asleep, almost and almost got flummoxed... that tells me I am tired and should go to bed, it will all come clear as mud in my dreams.

This next bit is for Angelina's benefit,

Well, ladies and gentlemen, we seem to have made a wonderful start to the fortnight... GRIN...

Goooood... grief! Look at the time!
 :)

Sorry I wasn't in earlier...  I really intended to be in bed when I said goodnight here... but when you are surrounded by family, you have fun... and also you talk... and talk... and yawn... I guess we had a lot to talk about.

Anyway!  I'zup!

And hoping to get a wee look round before diving into some work.   Thank you for the additional posts... it's always lovely to be updating your profiles.  Thank you also for all the pm's I have received giving lovely comments for others or simply updating your own details.

This time round let's get this HOF looking sparkly... please, if you see empty 'more about me's' when travelling round other's already made profiles, send me something to add.  Don't be shy!

Alright, back to my coffee...

This sounds great!  :) :)

But I will need some technical help before I can go through my recordings--or listen to anyone else's. Yesterday, my sound just died...the little speaker icon on the lower right of my screen disappeared, and when I go to my Control Panel to adjust settings for the audio, it is not recognizing any of my normal playback modes. I have a PC with Windows XP--can anyone help????  :( :(

Hello Janet & Bruce ! Hello everyone ! :D

I'm just taking a small break (about 10 days) from 'being away of internet', will have to be gone again soon though, I wanted to say hello to you all. :-)
I was wondering what the theme of this week's chanllenge was and then I've just noticed this topic today, dumb meeee.

And I was surprised that I only have 9 'Solo' recordings in my archives.
wow this means I don't have much choice, but also it will be easy to choose.
Most of them are ones that I recorded at the very beginning when I started singing, this means it will definitely be an embarrassing selection, ouch !
Seems like most of the time I add some harmonies, so I have very little amount of solo recordings.

Anyway, I'll fill out my list when I can. :D
Pinky

Edit : Thank you for the advice, Janet ! :D (I love this edit option !)

Recordings:

1. Swing Out Sister
    Breakout

2. 10cc
The things we do for love

3. Travis
    Flowers in the window

4. Joe Dassin
    Les Champs-Elysees

5. The Beatles
From me to you <--- My first recording, embarrassing but funny. :D

Duets/Harmonies:

1. With Garry (Knight76)
    Losing My Religion by R.E.M.

2. With Terry (Song_Bird53)
Have you ever seen the rain ? by Creedence Clearwater Revival

3. With Garry (Knight76)
Gimme Shelter by The Rolling Stones

4. With Terry (Song_Bird53)
All My Loving by The Beatles

5. With Garry, Michelle, Janet, Gloria, Alisha, Mally, Karen, Vicki, Carole, Annie, Michael, Tommy, Terry
    Silent Night (Traditional Christmas Carol)

Hiya Pinky... Favourite recordings can be harmonies/duets and collaborations, we just split them so that duets can feature as themselves but there is nothing to stop you having all five personal favs as harmonies... I know this is what you love to do ... :-)

Progress is slow at the moment folks, had a busy day today with meetings away from home, so not been able to be here as often as I normally would have.  We're getting there (she bluffs!)  Great to see all these posts ready to catch songs :D

Modify:  Now I think I might have to go round the forests and hunt food, before they close... where do the days go?  I wanna sit here and listen to you lot GRRR.

Hey, look at that, I made it to 100 posts too.

congratulations Frank, that's two people on one challenge heh.  And yes, you can change your mind cos your a male, I er, thought that was what a female was meant to do?  Hmm.

:-)

Kat, this is one vegetable I had never bought or tasted before tonight... and it was indeed very lovely with the mango and chicken... I think we will definitely have that again.

I've not managed to get too much done here today as had to go to a meeting this afternoon, and then shop, cook, and eat, and generally spend time with the girls... so was late before I got a chance to sit by myself.

Thank you Dani for putting on chat and for all the Thursdays you have given us.  I really appreciate your time.

Just wanted to say thank you for your patience and I know, we set you a hard task  ;D Um, some things have been a little challenging this end too, heh, certainly some people are testing my rusty CSS skills in opening up spaces to add the pretty stuff ;)  But it's all good.

Hope you are still having fun checking on each other and trying to find out where we are working on this too, heh.

Okay, I'm done... need a wee break...  :)

Well since this cough of mine persists, I am going to sit back and do some major listening.  Will love hearing everyone's best.

Question about this profile thing with the songs.  Will it change our listed songs already in there or just add to them?  And I will have to check out Sandy's page so I can get how that works.  I am one of those profile page people that loves web page design :))

Okay to some serious listeing.  Big thanks to those that visited my mere 2 songs. :))
