 :D :D :D :D ;)

A final post, just waiting for the dog groomer to arrive to cut the dogs hair, before they go off to kennels. Then off to England in the morning, so I will be able to listen to qite a few songs before I go.

This is another song which mentions autumn, and it is by Old Blue Eyes himself

September Song

I even got in a Sing-Share advert ( Royalties do you think? ) I was surprised someone hadn't already picked this, perhaps it's an age thing.

I hope you have a lovely trip to merry ol' England, Mariner^^^^^^

Hi gang.

Lovely challenge theme, Phil.

Great to see some familiar faces around here...

...I hope you will all continue to help make it what it can be. Thanks.

Bruce and Janet,
I feel remiss in not letting you both know sooner how much I appreciate all the work the two of you have put into this site.  I hope you know that many of us get a great amount of enjoyment and entertainment here, even if we're not very vocal about it. I can't even fathom how many hours  (not to mention the expertise required!), have been spent putting this site together, especially with all the upgrading and new additions.  This is a fun place and kudos on you for your kindness and generosity in building our own wonderful playhouse.
BTW, Bruce, when I read your email about the correction in modifying profiles, I noticed you signed it "Regards, Bruce".  Just as a warning, the letters T and G are very close to each other on a keyboard. This recently became all too apparent to me and consequently I   will never be ending an email with the phrase "Regards" again.  LOL!

Hi all, 'fraid I am still bogged down with work but hoping to join back in soon.

Have a lovely holiday Mariner/Terry!  Fair England eh?  Well, if it is anything like here - it's fast becoming chilly, but the golden sunshine and blue skies almost make up for it...

I just wanted to say:

Happy Birthday Groove, should you be passing our way today :)

Well thats me finished, and up to date. Great challenge Phil, sorry I'll miss most of it, but it looks as though it's going to be a great success. See you all in a couple of weeks.

Happy birthday Groove!

This song is about the end of summer and beginning of fall weather, as well as aging. It's an activity I haven't done in many years that most Americans call skinny-dipping but Southerners in the US refer to by the song's title.

We occasionally have duplications on the song list here, so I hope no one will mind.  I told Terry that he stole a song I wanted to do.  :D

Actually, this song is in my 4shared account, but 4shared keeps getting hacked.  So, I finally created an account at eSnips and uploaded it there.

Terry did a masterful sing on this.  However, like many songs, the SS backing track provides only the chorus and I thought some might like to hear the entire song.  This is my own original accompaniment.

I tested this link and it seems to work fine.  Well, it worked for me, but Jenny says it's a bad link.  So, let's try this.  If this works, then I'll try and figure out how to post it correctly.

Hope everyone has a great day! I'll be checking in and out throughout the day to see if someone is leaving any new goodies.  ;D

Well, now I'm baffled.  I just clicked on that link and went straight to the song file and it began playing immediately.  I thought that perhaps it was because I was signed into my account.  So, I signed out and then clicked on it again as any of you would.  Again, it took me straight to the song and it started playing.

Ok, I had to share this moment..
My son just called me up.

My son is proposing to his fiancee this coming weekend with a small round table setting at the park with nothing but two fine china dishes and flute glasses, along with the display of the ring set next to the flute glasses and beautiful rose pedals on the ground..with a dog wearing a bow that he adopted for her (because she wanted it). And after the fine meal, they will play Frisbee with the dog and spend the day at the park! How romantic and classy is that? I am so proud of my son and he did a better job than his dad! (heehee)

*Cheers* To their future! xo

Hurray!  My friend Nabe has found a song for his first challenge.  I hope everyone will join him in watching Puff "frolic in the Autumn mist".

Let me also tell all the RK members who may not have ever gone to the Japanese site before.  In order to comment, you will have to log into the site.  You use the same username and password as on the English site.  Although you won't be able to read the Japanese characters, the place to enter those is in exactly the same location on the page.
