Coming off an interesting evening...here in San Francisco our weather is the envy of many, but it's actually quite dull.  Last night, we had an extremely rare occurrence of elevated thunderstorms with dry lightning.  Very spectacular since the cloud bases are 2 miles up and the lightning bolts travel mainly thru clear air.

Being a weather junkie, I went out around 4 AM intending to drive to a vista point in the hills and watch the storms.  I stopped for gas on the way.  When I went to get back in my car, this face was staring at me from under the steering wheel:

She'd climbed right in as soon as my back was turned!  I'd seen her wandering in the lot as I pulled in, but figured she belonged to someone nearby.  Fortunately she had a microchip implant, which quickly led us to the owner, who lived almost 2 miles away and was very happy to have his dog back!

The little fella must love to take rides in the car.  He was begging you to drive him home!  Probably how he got to the gas station!  Must have gotten in a car and the person didn't realize he was there and didn't know where he came from so just dumped him, although 2 miles isn't far for him to travel anyway.

EDIT: embarrassed - I know I've said Monday up there ^ but I honestly thought it was Tuesday today and was rather stunned when a new challenge didn't happen - hehehehe.

Hi All!!  Here to catch up on my listens today!!   Sorry I has out of commision the past few days...had a sinus infection...couldn't even sing or go play with my mom-in-law's new kitten--bummer!

Adam, so glad you got that cute puppy back to his home!!  He was probably scared because of the storm.....Hey,  you had lightening in SF??  Didn't get any down the road from you in SLO!

ColonelMac.. Rich I thought that your Hello Central. . Give Me No Mans Land, was very poignant, you sang it brilliantly, and the picture story brought the whole song alive, loved it
