^^^^  Eeek Angie alert - she might be naked with a teacosy hat... and she's on a mission!  Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!

Ohhhh my!  I think this week I just found out what a rebellious rabble you lot really are!

What with Tas's salty chocolate bobbly things, and Marigot's Bad Things. I just ending up fighting with Angie!

Wow I am going to hide the lead crystal and get out the plastic Thomas the Tank Engine cups Friday night... Might need a few bouncers too, just in case.

:D

Caught up to hear  grrr here - I have heared too!  LOL, lovely peeps... have to go hunt dinner in a minute... enjoying all your songs, thank you!

I LOVE THESE IDEAS... :D  Yeah, sorry about the pin! :P

Oh and I think Mike really, it's gonna be Birthday suits... with dickie bows :)

Hmmm - my thunking box is not functioning very well at this time of morning (my bread basket is feeling a bit empty too, rumble)  so I'll have to do some research on google... I think your idea for Bruce is great... I'm sure he'd love this job hehehe...

Love your post!  Can I do a thumbs up here?

Here's another bad thing, Janet.  I had just pretzels for dinner!  :o   Try to top that! :P

HI ... ;D oops, caps lock zooms on all the time! I'm still getting used to the new computer.
The sound's different, the camera's out of synch & my hair is full of salt  ...windy & salty here but beautiful.  oh yeah I look like a beachcomber now, 'scuse me for not washing the salt out first! The car was covered in salt too ...not good for her chassis at all ...it's washed off now

Anyway ...I had to think about this one Janet since long weekends don't mean as much as they once did ...but it does mention an alarm clock & day-dreaming so guess it fits the theme. Cheers

Hee hee, morning Jenny!  Awww new computer eh?  Salty new computer? No, salty Jenny heheh.

Thank you for joining us, salt is not such a good thing is it?  Grrrr.

Yeah, we do not get a labor day either... :(  I think the Americans just need their holidays and any old excuse to party :P  Even our holidays are not holidays as such, life goes on as usual... but I'm enjoying being able to play here.

Hiya Marigot... I really am trying to think of something more devious than pretzels for dinner!  I think you have the oneupmanship on naughtiness here...  ; ;D

Hi Everyone  ???  Things are happening that gonna prolly keep me from getting my dickie bow'd tonight!   :-\  Good news is that Jack (my 2 yr old great nephew) is going home today after 2 weeks being hooked up to tubes and such, he had his Third open heart surgery and hopefully his last on the 25th of August.  Keep him in your prayers please..there is still a long way to go to recovery.
As for last nite, my daughter Jacky had to be taken to the ER where they admitted her to the hospital for the next 3-5 days for an inflamed pancrust..errr pancreus?  whatever..which was cause by gualbadderitis somehthing or another and Stones.  I told her not to eat them stones when she was a baby, but she didn't listen..but seriously, she was in so much pain I just hope they get her relaxed and well.  she will have sugery for the guall stones after they get the inflamation down.  So grandpa has two grand kids to keep while dad stays with mom  at the hospital.  I am not sure I will make the party..say a pray for me..errr and them..that wee survive.  Love you all

Goodness Mike!  Seems you've all been going through the mills - so glad that the wee chap is getting stronger and so sorry to hear about your daughter.

Today so far has been nothing but news of worrisome situations!  Holding everything, everybody, everywhere in my heart... whatever you are going through.  I'm sending you out some love...

Owww ladies, Mike chickened out of the birthday suit!  GRRR.  Mike, seriously, hope all gets better for you as the day goes on.

Mike, this is one thing I especially love about you - your sense of humor.  You just remember to keep it while you're babysitting your little darlings!  I hope everything works out okay for your daughter and your nephew.  I'll keep them both in my thoughts and am sending good wishes vibes as I speak, er, type.

Hi guys and hope all are well.

Mike- so sorry to hear that, and you must be so stressed. Lots of good thoughts going your way, and the best to you, and all in your family. Hugs and more hugs for you! xo :x

Ok, my new computer's version, OS Window's 7 is a pain in the arse. I am having such trouble with old (not neccessarily too old) computer attachments. It seems drivers are not available. Bummer. No cam, no printer..yet. Finally got my Alesis to work, though! I thought I'd share the excitement.

Sorry to Janet (although I've apologized and we spend an hour in chat, together, last night on our lonely date - as always) for not participating AGAIN in one of her challenges. xo

PS..Well, there is still hope b4 Tuesday! ;-) :-P

Love, D

Was it only an hour Dani?  It felt like forever, I mean a minute    :o   hehehehehehe!

And as I said last night, I have no idea why I went in at the hour I did, or why I stayed there!  :D  But I'm glad I did cos it was lovely seeing you.

The joys of new technology sigh! I think your OS is really, really new so it's not just a case of Vista, it's new Vista with added pain!  Hope you sort things soon!

I know this is a bit of a stretch... :D, but this Labor Day weekend I plan on watching the season finale of "True Blood", which I somehow became addicted to.

Hey sweetie!  I hate to be the bearer of bad news but we have to wait another week for the finale!  I recently read the whole series of books that the show is based on and WOW!   I really love all the characters!  Also not sure how I'm going to wait 10 months for the next season!!!

Oh also wanted to add that I don't have HBO but you can watch all the True Blood shows on TV Dome. com for free!

Continuing on the back to school aspect of Labor Day, here's the theme song of that 70's TV show Welcome Back Kotter

Welcome Back

As for joining you in the chat room tonight, I'm never able to get in, I'm always getting an error message, something about cookies...I've tried everything and several browsers but nothing works :-( I'll try again tonight.

Thanks Janet! ^^^^

And Ooh!!! "Welcome Back Kotter!"

I will always love that song and the memory of it is so, so, very sweet. It reminds me of my real "first love" way back 1980 when this sweet boy painted my toenails, (I was 16 he was 18) while Welcome Back Kotter theme song played on TV. I thought I would melt away. Never forgot him. I got to meet him again 2005 when I went to New York for a visit. Sometimes its best to leave the past behind because like they say, "Watch what you wish for" And I always wondered whatever happened to him. His status update. Negative. But it was nice seeing him again!

Well, dunno why I shared this, but I did..and its good to release thoughts. *You now hear a seashore sound* LMAO. xo

Dani, the High School they show in the opening credits of Welcome Back Kotter is the actual high school my daughter attends. New Utrecht High in Brooklyn.

What!?!?!?!?!?  ???   I didn't realize that! :o  I never heard that said!  Oh, now my whole weekend is ruined!
Not really.  We have a picnic to go to on Sunday that will last into the wee hours, so we've set it up to record.  And Monday - dinner party.  So depending on whether or not my husband (he's addicted too!  Te-he! :D) works in Long Island next week, I'd have had to wait til Tuesday, best case, and Friday, worst case.  It's more fun to watch with him.  Waiting two more days isn't so bad.  And thanks for the heads up, Liv.  Now I can get use to the idea.
I'm delighted to know there's another True Blood fan out there in EAW land!  I'm sort of surprised I got addicted to this show, because it's really not me.  Usually I think the whole vampire idea is silly.  But this is different somehow...  Anything Jon Ball does is usually first class entertainment.
Does the series follow the books?

Pretty much, so far this season is all based on the first book!  The series has a few characters the books don't have and Lafayette gets killed fairly quickly in the first book, glad it looks like they're keeping him on  the series, he's such a great character!  In fact, in the books, the cooks are killed on a regular basis!  lol  I think they'll probably take most of the ideas from the books but put their own spin on them.  This whole Maryann thing has lasted way too freakin long, in the books she's gone in a few chapters!  Why oh why did they get hung up on her when there's so many better stories they can take from the books?  Oh well just wish next Sunday will come faster, well actually Monday for me because I have to watch it online and its usually not up till the next day.

We're being attacked by gusts of wind right now in beautiful Coral Bay ...& it's been raining! hey what's this strange wet stuff?  ...it's the first rain we've struck since May 12 so the beach isn't going to look too tempting today. Oh well, it had to happen sometime

...Just as well I had a concert to attend this morning ...thank you all for your fab voices & cheery company ...now if only I could get Janet's & Sa Cha's songs to load ...

I hope you all have a nice weekend ...we do have Labo(u)r Day but it's different in every state eg NSW is October  ......scurrying off to see when WA has it ...not that it affects us much except the caravan parks fill up

MIKE! so sorry to hear little Jack & also Jacky are facing tough trials ...that means you are as well ...I hope & pray things will turn out fine for them both ...& that you will all be smiling again soon ...huggggs all round

Hi it's me again ...hope you're all having or about to have a great weekend

This sort of fits the theme ...any work slaves out there??  ;D
Taken from the archives ...I can't seem to sing anything today ...maybe a glass of wine with dinner would help?

Do You Hear The People Sing? ...Les Miserables

I must say this was a difficult one to sing while squashed behind a tiny table singing straight into the computer
