Pulled one from the vault cuz ironically I have been workin' alot.  I wanted to do "Having My Baby" to reference  "labor" in the child bearing sense but just no time these days.   :~)

This song tells a sad tale about a poor bluesman who played the street corners for change to buy his next drink.  What a job.

Ballad of Curtis Loew

I know this is a bit of a stretch... :D, but this Labor Day weekend I plan on watching the season finale of "True Blood", which I somehow became addicted to.  This is the theme song:

Mrs. Woof doesn't know me, she may not let Mark have a stranger over. But it's a thought!

 ;) ;) ;) ;)

Good evening, hope everyone is well, I have had a very busy day, and am off to bed, but just thought I'd drop in another song.

I presume that as Labor Day is a holiday, then people go off to the sea ( if they live somewhere near a sea ), so this song by the Drifters could be appropriate. It also mentions carousels etc.

Under The Boardwalk

I hope to catch up with my listens tomorrow. Good night all.

Hi!

Just dropping by to say thanks to Walt and Bella for the last challenge.  Missed getting my thanks in yesterday
as I was in bed most of the day tending to a very upset tummy.

I hope to get some more listens on on that challenge too.

Tanks again Walt and Bella!

Howdy to everyone!

I am sooooo happy that everyone is stretching this theme and having fun with it. Now for my stretch  ;D

If I had my wish this Labor Day, I would be in Texas.....and not because they have the best BARBECUE on earth....because my Rhonda is there. She has to go to three classes on Labor Day....Immoral, I know.....must be a Texas school thing? So I won't be spending Labor Day in Texas with my little Texas Tornado...she is little, you know...5 feet 2 inches...just a tiny little thing! But she still blows me away with her love...yep she knocks this 6 foot tall man for a loop every time he's with her. Have I told you all that I love her?  :-*

Texas Tornado

P.S. Sorry to disappoint all you who wanted me to sing Chocolate Salty Balls  ::)

How's it going my EAW friends.  Hope everyone is healthy and feeling great --

I'm looking forward to this Labor day weekend  as I've been working very hard this summer and have plans to go up North Michigan to visit family , possibly camp out and Dance and Sing like we mean it!!

So I've chosen a total Dance tune that will get ya in the spirits  to jump up and shout  (just don't break nuthin'?)
A tune by Junior Walker & The All Stars   //  enjoy  and watch your toes ! :)

Whoa!  More songs!  :D

I'm not really still up, I was um, I settled down to watch The Godfather Part II at 1150pm.  Um, the box set I bought does not tell me how long these are... so, here I am three and a half hours later almost!

GRIN.

Did I really step away from the computer THAT long? :P

Okay, updating list then I'll listen for a wee while before shooting off to my dreamland.

Hope everyone is well, and so good to see you all dropping in.

I LOVE THESE IDEAS... :D  Yeah, sorry about the pin! :P

Oh and I think Mike really, it's gonna be Birthday suits... with dickie bows :)

Hmmm - my thunking box is not functioning very well at this time of morning (my bread basket is feeling a bit empty too, rumble)  so I'll have to do some research on google... I think your idea for Bruce is great... I'm sure he'd love this job hehehe...

Love your post!  Can I do a thumbs up here?

Why is it so easy for Marigot to just rattle off umpteen ideas for badness?

Better keep your back to the wall Janet and whatever you do don't go to sleep :o

OK so this may have been a bad idea but it sure was fun.

JANET, my dear!  I just read your reply to Marigot more closely.  Birthday suits and DICKIE bows!

Well, I've looked through all my libraries on RK, SS and 4shared and I got NOTHIN' that I can even ST--R--E--T--CH into this theme.  Since I'm on the road and can't record on this laptop, guess I'll have to sit this one out.
