Hi everybody--hope you're all doing OK!  I'm still plugging away, but overcommitted and I should probably be committed! I MIGHT have some of my time back after Saturday, but that remains to be seen.  Anyhow, I'm several challenges behind on my listening, but hope to do some catching up very soon!  I'm so glad spring's finally here!

Hi Guys...

Earlier I couldn't access Snap and then I started feeling sick, my kidneys are acting up again...and next week is my birthday so I want to take care of myself and not land in the hospital for my big day of becoming a year older and uglier.

I was taking it easy. I am now going to resume my listens and want to Thank You for singing such beautiful songs that correspond with my sweet theme.  I will try and get a song in soon--hopefully!

Here's my second song. I have chosen the beautiful song first sung by Andrea Bocelli called Con Te Partiro', which means I will go away with you. Singsnap only has the duet version with Sarah Brightman and only the English version. But singing this song in English does not do it justice, first of all the English title: Time To Say Goodbye is very misleading, this song is not about saying goodbye it's about going away with one's love to places they've never been, which is more in tune with the theme of this challenge. So, I've decided to sing it in the original Italian. I hope you like it

I thought of this song immediately, because of the metaphor and imagery in the lyrics.  I think life imitates nature sometimes, in a way.  Winter comes, and life turns colder... Things may become harsh.  Birds may leave in the winter, but there is always the hope of spring.  It's not always the same birds, but as a whole,  as a group, they survive, they return.  So, too, in life...  things, places, people may come and go.  The one thing that remains the same is that everything changes.  We can always carry the memories, the echoes of seasons past, with us through our winters.   There will always be new roads, new beginnings, new journeys through life. 

There are never truly any endings... only new beginnings.

I have always thought this one of the most beautiful songs, lyrically speaking, that I've heard.

Hello everyone !  :-)

It's been very pretty here in Tokyo.
Cherry blossoms are now starting a little falling off from the branches and dropping on the ground & into the river that runs along the street.
It's like a petal storm when you walk through the street and everyting is colored in the pale pink there.
